WJMS' Harbin, Cliver Awarded Bright Ideas Grants
West Jackson Middle School teachers Dr. Tonia Harbin and Ms. Christa Cliver were awarded Jackson EMC Bright Ideas grants. Harbin received $1,950 for the project entitled "3D Derby: Racing Toward the Future", while Cliver received $1,135 for the project "Makey Makey Arcade."
The grant is part of the Jackson EMC Bright Ideas Grant program, which is awarding $73,600 to 48 teachers across 30 middle schools this year. The maximum amount a teacher may receive for the grant is $2,000.
